Create 'all' log
Enable this option if you want MDaemon to create the -all.log file which logs all sending, receiving and processing traffic.
Log SMTP activity
Enable this option if you want to log all of MDaemon’s send/receive SMTP activity.
Log POP activity
Check this box to log all POP mail activity. This will log your users’ POP mail collection sessions from MDaemon.
Log DomainPOP Activity
Enable this option to have MDaemon log any DomainPOP traffic.
Log MultiPOP activity
Enable this option to have MDaemon log any MultiPOP traffic.
Log IMAP activity
Enabling this option causes all of your users’ IMAP sessions to be included in MDaemon’s log files.
Log RAS activity
Check this box if you want MDaemon to copy RAS dialup/dialdown activities into the log file. This information is useful for diagnosing dialup problems.
Log IP Screen activity
Check this box if you want the IP Screening activities to be included in MDaemon’s log files.
Log Minger activity
Enable this box if you'd like Minger activity to be included in the log files.
Log mail server statistics
When this option is enabled, MDaemon will create a separate log file that's readable with spreadsheet programs.
Log full WC/HTTP/IM activity
When this option is enabled, MDaemon will generate full logs for all WorldClient/WebAdmin traffic.
Log AntiVirus activity
Check this box if you want the AntiVirus activities to be included in MDaemon's log files.
Log Spam Filter activity
Check this box if you want the Spam Filter activities to be included in MDaemon's log files.
Log DNS Black list activity
Check this box if you want DNS black list activities to be included in MDaemon's log files.
Log message parsing activities
MDaemon periodically performs a great deal of message parsing activity when determining to whom a message should be delivered. Enable this switch if you want this information to be included in the log file.
Log content filter activity
Check this box if you want to include Content Filter activities in MDaemon's log files.
Log Outlook Connector activity
When this box is enabled, MDaemon will log Outlook Connector activity to its own log file.
Log SPF activity
Enable this option to have MDaemon create a log file for SPF activity.
Log DK/DKIM activity
Enable this option to have MDaemon create a log for DomainKeys and DKIM activity.
Log certification activity
Enable this option to have MDaemon log the message certification activity.
...but only when DNS data is found
Disabling this option for each of the SPF/DK/DKIM logging options allows MDaemon to conserve disk space and processing if no records are found of the specific type.
Log all local MDSpamD activity
Use this logging option to enable debug logging for MDSpamD.
Log sessions in real time
Ordinarily, session information is logged after the session is completed in order to conserve resources. Click this option if you want session information to be logged as in occurs.
Log multi-line protocol responses
Sometimes the responses to protocol requests require more than one line of information. Click this checkbox if you want to log these additional lines.
Log Unique ID string in mail session logs
When this option is enabled MDaemon will log each message's unique ID string during processing transactions.
Log SMTP 'probes'
When this switch is enabled MDaemon will keep a log for SMTP traffic without a DATA command.
Always log to screen
Click this option if you want the logged data to be copied to the MDaemon GUI even when it is minimized or running in the tray.
When this control is cleared, log data isn’t copied to the router window when MDaemon is running in the system tray. Consequently, the most recent activity won’t be listed on any of the router window’s tabs when MDaemon is first opened. The router will begin displaying newly logged information from that point forward.
