Invalid key with MDaemon AntiVirus
MDaemon AntiVirus is not updating and gives an invalid key error.
This could be due to one of two things.
- The system date of your PC was altered or it was altered in the past (sometimes the program sees this as an attempt to prolong the license period). If this is what has occured, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get you a new key file. Make sure to send your name, email address and MDAV key along with the email.
To prevent this situation in the future, please close Kaspersky Anti-Virus applications during system date changing.
- Your key-file is really expired. Check the status of your virus update protection in MDaemon under Help | Register MDaemon | AntiVirus tab.
