Below please find instructions on how to setup a POP3 web mail email account on your iPhone.
- Select Settings / Mail, Contacts, Calendars / Add Account.
- Click Other, located at the bottom of the list.
- Click Add Mail Account.
- Select other unless you are trying to pop from one of the providers listed.
(you will need to obtain the POP server information from them).
- Enter the following information in the spaces provided:
- Name: Enter your full first and last name, as you want it to be displayed in the emails you send.
- Address: Enter your full email address (e.g., myname@ mydomain.com).
- Password: Enter the password for your email account on this server.
- Description: Enter a descriptive name for your account (e.g., My Work Account). This description will be visible only to you.
- Click the Save button.
- Select POP at the top.
- On the next screen, in both the Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server sections, enter the following information:
- Host Name: Enter the name of the secure email (server: secure.emailsrvr.com).
- User Name: Enter your full email address (e.g., myname@mydomain.com).
- Password: Enter the password associated with your email account.
- Click the Save button.
NOTE: You may be prompted with a message about an SSL certificate. Click yes on this screen and then continue on the next screen.
- Click SAVE and wait for the iPhone to test your incoming and outgoing mail settings and connect to your mailbox.
- After completing these steps, you should be able to send and receive email successfully.
